We strongly encourage all non-profit and service organizations to register with Hands on Blue Ridge through the United Way of Montgomery, Radford, and Floyd's and Council of Community Services in Roanoke. There you can post your volunteer needs and items your organization needs, too. This is the BEST way to help us promote to others your specific needs. The United Way also hosts a Community Events Calendar where you can post your events. This calendar helps everyone plan events to avoid scheduling conflicts. The United Way also has a web page listing other major organizational calendars in this area for your reference.
We encourage you to particpate in the Third Thursday Society which meets monthly to discuss current issues for non-profits. Join the Third Thursday Society.
